Purely Vegetarian
Ah, is this a bit of a let down? Pretty sure at this point you’re really considering if you should even attend the wedding.
But, brace yourselves for a proper, super tasty south Indian food.
When was the last time you had food on a banana leaf? You might’ve had it recently, but for the sake of making my point, I am gonna assume you’ve never experienced it.
Get ready to taste some new food. Experience the love that went into every bite, leaving your taste buds screaming for more! Who knows, you'll probably find an answer to the age-old question of "Fantastic Feasts and Where To Find Them". I know, I know this is overly exaggerated.
Are you expecting gifts ?
Honestly, yes. I am expecting as well as accepting gifts. But it isn’t mandatory haha (it is).
But also, we aren't gonna deploy bouncers at the entrance who'll politely ask you to leave in case you don't bring a gift (couldn't get parents' approval for this).
What’s that? Oh you wanna buy a gift and are asking if There are any budget constraints?
Please, go wild with the budget (only the budget, not the gifting ideas), in fact we recommend exactly this!

Why in the world did you make this Windows 95 themed?
• I just thought it'd be super cool and funny that someone's using such a design for such an important event
• Way easier to justify the lack of animations on this website because I can just say "Windows 95 didn't have animations, and since this site imitates it, I didn't create any"
• It's a nostalgic trip ( that no one asked for )
• There are very less Windows 95 themed websites on the internet and we need more of those
• I had already spent 6+ hours wrestling with the Windows 95 Design System, and it was too late ( also known as ‘I was too lazy' ) to push the reset button and start from square one
I must say, these are some pretty good reasons. But when I showed this website to one of my friends, she asked "Did you make this Windows 95 themed because Meghana and you were born in 1995?" and I went "Hmm, that's actually a pretty good point".
So yeah, the updated answer is that
I chose this because we both were born in 1995!
I've been staring at this design for so long that I'm pretty sure the font is starting to mock me. As you are reading this line, I am questioning all my life decisions ( except the one to marry this girl ) and spiralling into a gloomy depression.
But hey, looking on the brighter side, this website is approved by the legend,

Dear dairy,
At this point, I don’t even know how am I gonna tackle the mobile version of this. Do I really need to design for the tablet breakpoint as well? Do people even browse on tablets anymore? Looks like I took on a side project that looked easy in my mind but is infact not so easy. But unlike other projects, I aim to complete this, so lord give me strength.
I thought I’d use ChatGPT to come up with copy, but I soon realised that it couldn’t generate the tone I was aiming for this site, so it turned out to be pretty useless. Can you imagine how smart you gotta be to conclude that ChatGPT is useless? Looks like I have reached that point. Anyway, back to Figma file.
